German oak wood is heavy and hard, with straight texture, fine and uniform structure, no special smell. There are wide wooden beams in the longitudinal section and attractive silver-white patterns in the radial section. Easy to cut wood, good gloss after painting, easy to glue. Hold nails strong, but sometimes split.

Wood density varies greatly with climate and site conditions. The United Kingdom and Northern Europe produce harder materials with an average air-dry density of 721 kg/m3, while wood produced in Central Europe is lighter, with an average air dry density of 670 kg/m. cubic meter. Wood is weak or moderate in corrosion resistance. Particularly suitable for construction materials, furniture, flooring, staircases, ship materials, musical instruments, children's toys, sporting goods and so on.
